  • We at St. Agatha School respond to the Pursuit of Excellence in Education with the following beliefs:

). The school community is a ministry of the parish helping the students ultimately to achieve eternal happiness.

). Each student is a valued individual created in God's likeness with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

). Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instuctional approaches to support their learning.

). Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process and when they have appropriate opportunities for success.

). Students need not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, but also need to be actively producing quality work as well as solving problems.

). Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission to help each student to become confident, self motivated, faith forming, lifelong learners.
