  • We at St. Agatha School respond to the Pursuit of Excellence in Education with the following beliefs:

    1). The school community is a ministry of the parish helping the students ultimately to achieve eternal happiness.

    2). Each student is a valued individual created in God's likeness with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

    3). Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instuctional approaches to support their learning.

    4). Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process and when they have appropriate opportunities for success.

    5). Students need not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, but also need to be actively producing quality work as well as solving problems.

    6). Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission to help each student to become confident, self motivated, faith forming, lifelong learners.

  • St Agatha’s diverse set of educational programs opens minds and promotes enthusiasm, self-esteem, skill acquisition, and enhances our academic curriculum. Our programs include:

    • Literary Arts – Shakespeare Residency, Poetry Night, 2nd Grade Family Reading Night, Saint Day, Biography Day, Writer’s Pot, Battle of the Books, and State Day
    • Performance Arts– Elementary Christmas pageant, Middle School Spring Musical, Exploratory Classes
    • Musical Arts – Music classes, School band, Bell Choir, and Children’s Vocal Choir
    • Visual Arts – K-8 Art Classes (including paints, charcoals, clay and sculpting materials), School Art Show, participation in community art displays


    All-Art Day – dancers, musicians, authors, and actors from all over the world perform, lecture, demonstrate, discuss and lead unique hands-on workshops
